I was born and raised in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, then traveled extensively through Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia before arriving in the United States in 1979.
People often ask about my accent — and the answer is simple: French is my native language, and I became proficient in English while living in India. The result? A unique blend that reflects the journey.
At just 15, I attended my first psychology conference — on The Oedipus Complex — and had a conversation with the presenter that changed my life. He became a mentor, opening the door for me to study grapho-morpho-psychology in depth. By my late teens, I was certified through several private institutes in Paris and Switzerland.
In my early twenties, I attended a Silva Mind Control workshop — a self-hypnosis method that lit a fire in me. It was my first deep dive into the power of the mind, and it shaped everything that came after.
Since then, I’ve lived in various U.S. states, gathering wisdom and experience along the way. I now call Denver, Colorado home, where I maintain an online practice — teaching, mentoring, and empowering clients across the globe.
🌱 Where It All Began
I was born and raised in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, right on the shores of Lake Bienne, surrounded by a loving family and breathtaking natural beauty.
My desire to become a healer began early. At age 10, I watched a documentary about doctors working in Africa, and I decided then and there that I wanted to be one of them. My early fascination with the mind and brain had me dreaming of neurosurgery.
But life had other plans.
At 15, I caught the attention of a psychologist and psychoanalyst who became a powerful mentor. Under his guidance, I studied at private psychology institutes in Paris, France, and in Nyon and Zurich, Switzerland. I was introduced to the inner world of the psyche — and my lifelong exploration of the mind-body connection began.
Health challenges also played a major role in shaping my journey. Despite receiving all the childhood vaccines, I still developed the diseases they were meant to prevent and was frequently treated with antibiotics. At 15, I was diagnosed with skin cancer. Surgeries followed every six months — until I discovered the power of nutrition, detoxification, and healing from within. At 18, I bought my first juicer, overhauled my lifestyle… and never needed another skin cancer surgery.
Of course, healing is rarely that straightforward. For me, many of the deeper layers — emotional, mental, even spiritual — were already beginning to shift.
I nearly made it onto the Swiss Olympic team as a gymnast, but that dream ended after multiple knee surgeries. Still, movement and exploration remained part of my soul.
I explored Switzerland on a motorcycle — first a Suzuki 250, with which I toured Italy (yes, I climbed the Leaning Tower of Pisa before it was closed off!), and later a Suzuki 550 for longer rides through France. I learned to sail in De Kaag, Holland, and spent unforgettable weeks exploring Istanbul and the Turkish countryside — just for the joy of adventure.
🌏 The Search for Meaning
As my passion for healing deepened, so did my hunger for spiritual understanding.
Raised in the Christian tradition, I began questioning my beliefs as a teenager. That search led me through atheism, agnosticism, and eventually into Zen Buddhism — each step peeling back layers of dogma and drawing me deeper into the mystery of human consciousness.
At 20, I set out on a spiritual journey to India, joining an overland expedition from London to Kathmandu. The trip itself was life-changing — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
While in New Delhi, I had the extraordinary opportunity to meet Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. At the time, I didn’t know much about politics — and barely spoke English. But she spoke fluent French, and had studied in the very same Swiss village I had lived in. We connected instantly and ended up speaking for 45 minutes before she returned to her official duties.
In New Delhi, I also visited Sri Aurobindo’s Ashram — having devoured his writings, along with the teachings of J. Krishnamurti and Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, my early spiritual guides. I eventually made my way to Kathmandu, where I stayed for three months. It was a haven for seekers back then — a free-spirited city filled with mystics, hippies, and curious wanderers.
Those experiences shaped me profoundly. They cracked open the narrow definitions of health and healing I had once clung to, and invited me into something much more expansive — a path that integrated body, mind, and soul.
🌍 A Pilgrimage of Spirit, Service, and Serendipity
Recurring knee problems from my gymnastics days flared up, and I had to be flown back to Switzerland for a second round of surgeries. During recovery, I took a job at a chocolate decoration factory near Zurich — not quite the path I had envisioned, but an important step nonetheless.
It was there that opportunity knocked again.
The factory asked me to represent their designs in the United States — and I said yes. I flew from Switzerland to New York City, then on to Washington D.C., where I took up residence in the iconic Watergate complex. The plan was to launch a career as a chocolate design sales representative.
But as with many things in my life… that path didn’t unfold quite as expected.
After arriving in the U.S., I moved to California to live with a distant relative and found myself pursuing a dream — learning to fly. It was at the airport, while working toward my pilot’s license, that I met the man who would become my husband.
What followed was not the life I had envisioned.
We became part of a so-called “Christian” cult where women were taught to submit to their pastors and husbands “unto death.” I nearly complied — surrendering my voice, my body, and my dreams.
After the birth of my sixth daughter, I was bedridden for weeks… perhaps even months. I was in constant physical pain and mental anguish. Eventually, I gave up. I made peace with God and prepared to die, quietly counting down the final two weeks I believed I had left.
But it wasn’t my time.
What happened next felt like a ripple in the fabric of reality. Synchronicities began to unfold — subtle at first. Advertisements for personal development programs began appearing in my mailbox. With nothing to lose, I sent in for one. I set a five-year goal for myself… and achieved it in just three.
Then came a prolonged and painful 16-year divorce.
To protect my children and myself, we often had to go into hiding — moving between states, living under the radar, trying to stay safe. I entered the process with faith in justice… and emerged with a deep understanding of how deeply abuse and corruption run within the family court system — and the legal system as a whole.
And yet, I would not trade the gift that came from it all: my seven incredible children, all born at home and homeschooled with love, curiosity, and the freedom to grow into who they truly are. The picture you see was taken at the wedding of my third daughter — a moment that felt like the blooming of something sacred.
I no longer move through life with the same naivety I once had. I’ve earned every ounce of discernment, every scar of survival, and every insight I now offer to others.
